Dimitrios Stamatialis is co -inventor of mixed matrix membrane technology and leader of the Advanced Organ Bioengineering and Therapeutics group of the faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Twente – The Netherlands. He has long experience in research and education concerning biomedical membranes and (bio)artificial organs. His mission is to provide innovative technological solutions for patients, suffering from chronic and malignant diseases.
